I finally did my slime battle for PaperDemon! Just in time for a big boss fight, too, so I don't have to feel guilty about fighting a boss before my first slime. I quite like how this turned out.
Drawn 1/2/26, Photoshop.

I felt like I didn't draw much this year, but my blog stats said otherwise, and I actually did quite a bit. Including multiple animations. In fact I spent two months on that stupid animatic so it gets two spaces. I realize now how much I drew between May-September, that it's no surprise I burned out in October. But I'm finally feeling motivated again now that I've gotten through one last drawing, so I'm feeling good going into 2026.

Finally finished this piece I've had planned for ages, inspired by Thomas Cole's The Destruction of an Empire (1836). "You should try a painting style like the inspiration!" an idiot told me. I was the idiot. At least I was able to do some much-needed background practice. And of course, no crowd is complete without background doomed yuri, toxic yaoi, and depressed ace.
Drawn 12/30/25, Chickensmoothie.
I'm finally able to show my page for the Magic Kaito Redraw on Tumblr after months of secrecy! This is page 148, in chapter 5: The Underwater Pirate Ship. It was a lot of fun and I'm so glad I was able to participate in this project. You can read the whole thing here!
Finished 9/15/25, Photoshop.
I definitely struggled more with No Sleep November this year, and most of my sketches had to be finished later, but I eventually got through most of them. I also had my Renaissance Festival costume to make in the middle of November as well, and it took more time than I set aside for it. I am happy with what I finished, though.
