Sketches - Plagued by Problems of my own Creation

 Some recent sketches I did in place of actually drawing anything. Mostly because I had no inspiration once I sat down with my tablet. Even when I had time to kill, the canvas just sat there laughing at me.

2022 Summary of Art

 Despite my unfortunate lack of regular posting, I appear again with the annual art summary. The saddest part is that I had many drawings planned for December, but I left my pen at home when I traveled for the holidays, so this was all I had to include.

Character Design - WOT are ye doin in mah SWAMP

 I entered Art Fight's Design for the Person Above You Game again as part of my NaNoWriMo world-building challenge for the month, and was tasked with designing a D&D character. Any character at all, as long as it wasn't a human fighter. So I had a lot of freedom. I went with a swamp-themed smuggler, a Water Genasi Druid (Circle of the Swamp). 

I'm really happy with this! I did a better job with the color palette than I do for my own characters...

Sketch - For the Dancing and the Dreaming

 I realized how much this song reminded me of my parents' EQ2 characters, so I decided to draw something as a Christmas or anniversary gift for them. I wish I had added a few of their recognizable items, like Briareos's broken shield. CS has fixed their color selector, yet I continue to draw exclusively in monochrome...

And the song that inspired this piece and could not describe these two better.

Sketch - Wasn't it Not Worth It?

Took a spin on my "new" tablet that a friend gave me a year or so ago. I finally bought the pen it was missing. It has a screen and it's very nice, but it's much different than the basic Wacom tablets I've been using my whole life so it takes some getting used to.

Anyway, I decided to do a nice, simple sketch on the Oekaki. I think this is the first time I've drawn Rico. I'm happy with it!

Sketch - If punching didn't work, punch it harder

 Back to the Oekaki again... A nice sketch of Knuckles, my favorite reality-altering bruiser. She's such a fun character. I updated her outfit to show off her muscles as well. Decided to do this monotone since CS is having some problem with the color selector.
